Equine dentistry is essential for animal health and performance, preventing pathologies and correcting dental irregularities that may compromise well-being. This study reports the case of a 5-year-old, 370 kg Campolina mare presenting clinical signs of feeding discomfort and resistance to the bit. The dental examination revealed upper projection, wolf tooth, hooks, and enamel points, leading to the indication of corrective treatment. The intervention included sedation, removal of enamel points, dental table alignment, wolf tooth extraction, and reduction of dental projections. After the procedure, the animal showed improved chewing, weight gain, and appropriate feeding behavior. This report highlights the importance of early diagnosis and regular dental follow-up in maintaining equine health, longevity, and performance.
