Main clinical signs reported were dyspnea, severe tympany and dry feces with mucus. Necropsy findings consists of peritoneal fluid with bloody aspect, severe abomasal dilatation and clockwise torsion in the pylorus varying from 180 to 270º with edematous wall and hemorrhagic necrosis in the serous; liver and kidney congestion, besides of an interstitial pulmonary emphysema. The current findings were due to the severe circulatory alterations in the abomasum and systemic disturbances.
