The increase number in the livestock can be acquired with the use of bio techniques as artificial insemination. The aim of this study was to test the viability of new extenders of freezing semen for bulls classified as very good and regular freezability. Ten zebu bulls was used, being classified as very good freezability (n=5) and regular one (n=5). The ejaculates were frozen using the extenders TRIS-egg yolk, Botu-Bov® and Botu-Bov Egg Free®; evaluated by computer analysis (CASA) and the membrane integrity by fluorescence. The statistics was realized by ANOVA and Tukey test at 5%. No difference (p>0.05) between bulls of very good and regular frozen, pre-freeze was found in the tests. However, there was the superiority of Botu-Bov ® and Botu-Bov Egg Free® (p<0.05) for CASA: MP, ALH, BCF, STR, LIN and RAP for regular freezability. The bulls that have regular freezability also presented superiority (p<0.05) to Botu-Bov Egg-Free® and Botu-Bov® in the MT and VSL parameters. There was also the superiority of Botu-Bov® and Botu-Bov Egg Free ® (p<0.05) in BCF and STR parameters used in bulls of very good freezability. The extenders Botu-Bov® and Botu-Bov Egg Free® presented superiority in most parameters that were analyzed using the system CASA, mainly in bulls with regular freezability.
