Abstract

The study reports a Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae infection in a pig breeder after the asymptomatic carriers pig introduction. Pigs were kept 55 days in the quarantine unity. Clinical evaluations and serological analysis were performed and they did not detect infectious suspect of microorganism. Clinical respiratory signs were observed in animals three weeks after the pig introduction in a destine farm. Serological, histopatological and PCR exams confirmed the pulmonary infection for M hyopneumoniae.
