Abstract

The enteropathogens can be considered as one of the main groups of pathogenic microorganisms for human and animals. They establish infection in the susceptibles by means of the contamination of foods and water or for the narrow contact with animals or with the creation environment. In Brazil and other countries is common the use of sandboxes in parks and squares of recreation for the entertainment, especially of children and adolescents. These places can be propitious and of high risk to the propagation of enteropathogens for human when measures of general hygiene are not taken. In this article some enteropathogens of bacterial and parasitic origin had been revised that can be considered indicating of ambient contamination for recreation environments human, as parks and squares.
