Abstract

Reproductive anomalies in domestic stares are rare occurrences and are characterized in the majority of cases by the absence of clinical symptoms that can be perceived by the owners, as well as the way of discovering often incidentally during SST, necropsy or exploratory celiotomy. This paper describes the incidental work of unilateral ovarian agenesis in SRD probe submitted to OSH in a joint castration program. At the time, the pre-surgical tests were maintained, with the evaluation of the restricted animal only a general physical examination and abdominal palpation. The approach was performed through ventral medial access. After exposure of the continental uterine horn unexplained inexistent, which is confirmed by cranial invasion of the ovarian arteriovenous complex (CAVO) to a renal surface. Attempts to attempt to increase the capacity of hemostasis, however, the absence of imaging tests may increase surgical risk, especially for individuals or inexperienced patients. Although it is a simple resolution condition, it is necessary that CAVOS traction occurs due to the risk of complications resulting from its rupture.
