The venereal transmissible tumor (TVT) in dogs is widely reported in the Brazilian veterinary literature. Its differentiation from other round cell tumors is needed in order to establish the proper therapeutics. Clinical manifestations of genital / skin neoplasm associated to metastasis in local lymph nodes are less frequent. Herein, the case of a one year-old dog with lung and spleen TVT metastases is reported. It presented a growing volume in the frontal bone with osteolysis, an abdominal tumor and fever. The necropsy showed multiple lung and spleen metastatic nodules. The immuno-histochemistry staining test revealed positivity for vimentin, alpha-1-antitrypsin and lysozime. These histopathological and immuno-histochemical characteristics allowed to establish the diagnosis of as metastatic venereal transmissible tumor.
