Abstract

The embryonic stem cells are pluripotent lines derived from inner cell mass of developing blastocysts. Because of its great plasticity, many studies have been done to evaluate the therapeutic potencial of the stem cells, and have shown very promising results. The present study has the focus to do a literature review about the isolation, cultive, characterization and therapeutic application of mammals embryonic stem cells.
