SUPPLEMENTATION FOR DAIRY CATTLE IN XARAÉS GRASS PASTURE IN RAINY SEASON.

The present work aimed to evaluate energy and multiple supplements supplied to 2 and 4 kg animal day, in addition to mineral mix, on the performance and costs of milk production during the rainy season. The experiment was conducted in the experimental area consisted of five paddocks of 0.45 ha, with the Xaraés grass, and equipped with water and supplements dispenser covered, with a duration of five periods of 14 days, with 70 experimental days. Five Girolando dairy cows were used, with approximately six years of age and body weight of 460 kg randomly divided into a 5x5 Latin square design. After milking, the milk was weighed at 12, 13 and 14 days of each experimental period after the morning and afternoon milking to measure the performance of animals. There was no effect of supplementation on milk production (P> 0.05), have been observed the average of 8.21 kg milk animal day. Gross margins per kg milk produced for the supplements used were 0.54, 0.43, 0.38, 0.40 and 0.32 respectively for mixing mineral supplements, energy supplied to 2 and 4 kg, and provided multiple at 2 and 4 kg animal day.
