Em um estudo retrospectivo (1995-2005), foram avaliados 774 atendimentos radiográficos do
setor de Diagnóstico por Imagem do Hospital Veterinário da Universidade Estadual Paulista
Júlio de Mesquita Filho – UNESP – Campus de Botucatu, a fim de diagnosticar as principais
alterações radiográficas da coluna vertebral de cães. Destes 774 casos, foram encontradas
1047 alterações estudadas detalhadamente.
Os autores descrevem as características epidemiológicas das principais afecções encontradas.
