Abstract

Lymphoma is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in cats. This report describes the occurrence of extra-nodal lymphoma in a nasal cat 15-year-old mongrel with a history of dyspnea and unilateral purulent nasal discharge. The suspicion of cancer was indicated by the findings of computed tomography and the diagnosis was defined with cytology sinuses. The examination for detection of feline leukemia virus was negative. The animal was submitted to chemotherapy, but died at the beginning of treatment.
