Abstract

This study aimed to review important aspects of milk production from animals raised on
pastures in Brazil, since the importance of choosing the most suitable forage for the system,
the role of supplementation in improving the productivity of production systems that use
grazing as the basis of animal nutrition and possible interactions between the supplement and
pasture.
